The COLORS Repository gathers data about
second/foreign language teaching and learning
to promote second language research at UCF.
Overview
The COLORS Repository consists of both quantitative and qualitative data gathered through language learning settings conducted by UCF student-teachers and teacher-mentors for adult, English language learners in both traditional and synchronous/online formats.
How to Access Data
Securing access to COLORS Repository data is an easy process:
- Peruse the COLORS list of dataset options.
- Plan the study design. Contact COLORS for a consultation .
- Complete and sign a COLORS Repository Request Form.
- Complete and sign a COLORS Repository Data-sharing Agreement.
- Submit a UCF IRB Application.
- Upon approval, contact COLORS to request issuance of the dataset. Include the IRB approval document and both the signed COLORS Repository Request and Data-sharing Agreement forms. Data is issued through the University’s cloud system within three business days.
